Beth is thrilled to be a part of the OPC community as the Office Administrator. Having grown up steps away from OPC, she values the history and significance this church holds as a part of Oswego.

This lifelong Lutheran is a church organist at Cross Lutheran in Yorkville where she worships with her husband, Elias and two teen sons, Connor and Adam. “When I was placed on the organ bench at St. Luke’s at age 12, I just never left it.” Now, she has the privilege of leading worship alongside her sons who are also musicians. Connor is a percussionist and Adam plays the bassoon.

She went to North Central College on a vocal scholarship and enjoyed touring with the choirs until her Elementary Education requirements took precedence. She went on to teach Fourth Grade in St. Charles for three years before taking time to focus on raising her babies. Then, she went back into the schools as a substitute teacher for years before becoming an Elementary Intervention Specialist for Grades 3-5.

When not working, Beth can be found volunteering with OHS Bands. Band Mama Omar finds great joy in the service and support of such talented young musicians.
