Programs at OPC

The mission of all our youth programs at Oswego Presbyterian Church is to sow the seed, to nurture the need, to grow in our deeds and to harvest the freed. We share the Truth of the Lord and His salvation, and instruct our young people in how to practically apply these biblical and moral principals in their lives. We strive to provide a safe environment in which the youth can find acceptance and comfort, while at the same time learning to accept Christ’s love and become uncomfortable with mediocrity. We try to create a sense of intimacy, a sense of family for everyone involved, and we work to share that love and compassion with our community, our state, our nation, our world. We exist to cultivate the fields, to equip each young person so that they can go out and equip others in the name of God the Father Almighty.

Everyone involved has an individual ministry opportunity; we are called to be disciples to all nations and we are called to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. The opportunities are walking all around us and staring us in the face each time we look in the mirror. The opportunity is to lead by example and to glorify God in everything that we do and say.
