Hand Bell Choir

Supported By:  Worship & Music Committee

Its Mission:  The goal of the hand bells choir is to prepare meaningful music selections to enhance the worship service. To that end we develop the skills necessary to perform the music but we also nurture the spiritual and social life of the choir and its individual members. 

Who May Want To Join:  Anyone who has an interest in participating in worship through music may join. Music reading skills are strongly encouraged and prior experience with hand bells is a plus.

Activities:  We perform on selected Sunday worship services. We have played for community Thanksgiving Eve services and we regularly play for the Christmas Walk in downtown Oswego.

Individual Ministry Opportunities:  From the full bell choir individual members are occasionally asked to perform in a smaller ensemble.

Meetings & Time Commitments:  The bell choir rehearses every Tuesday evening from 7:30 - 8:30pm.
