Its Mission:
To support the
experience of worship services and other church programs with audio,
video and other technologies.
Who May Want To Join:
Those who are knowledgeable in "theater arts" or audio and visual
enhancement, computer graphics or video production may be able to
contribute greatly in this team. Those interested in learning are
welcome too.
Activities:
Each Sunday, we
support the worship experience by capturing and amplifying the sound
so everyone can hear what is being said and done. We try to make
sure everyone can hear the worship leaders, singers, actors,
musicians, hand bells, etc. We also provide sound support for other
events as needed. The church recently added a video projector in the
sanctuary, and we are looking forward to the possibilities that it
offers.
Individual Ministry Opportunities:
This is a
service team. Much of what we do is of course “behind the scenes”.
Team members will be assigned to various individual or team
activities. During worship services and programs, our support always
requires precise coordination with those out front. There are also
opportunities to repair or rearrange the sound/visual equipment.
