Adult Choir
Supported By: Worship & Music Committee
Its Mission: The goal of the choir is to prepare meaningful music selections to enhance the worship service. To that end we develop the skills necessary to perform the music but we also nurture the spiritual and social life of the choir and of the individual members.
Activities: In addition to the normal worship service music, the choir has prepared and performed several special (and challenging) programs including the "Requiem" by John Rutter and choruses from Handel’s "Messiah". We have also participated in the choir gathering for the community Thanksgiving Eve services.
Individual Ministry Opportunities: Individual members are occasionally asked to sing a solo or in a small ensemble either alone or with the choir.
Meetings & Time Commitments: Choir rehearsals are held Tuesday evenings 6:30 - 7:20pm and Sunday mornings 9:45 - 10:45am.
