Giving

God gives each of us a unique set of gifts. We celebrate these gifts with our entire lives, sharing our time, talents and resources. By giving of ourselves, we return to God what is God's and support ministries in the community and around the world. We strive to be good stewards of God's gifts, working faithfully and responsibly in mission for our world. Click here to see the latest OPC Giving Report.

Ways in which you can give financially are discussed below. We invite you to also look for other ways to give at OPC, perhaps through our Kids or Youth programs or other Ministries or Missions programs.

Financial Giving

OPC provides several ways to give. Whether you want to make a one-time gift, set up regular automatic giving, or prefer to use traditional weekly envelopes, we try to make the process as easy as possible.

By electronic transfer/payment

We strongly suggest giving by authorizing a regular, automated electronic transfer/payment of your gifts directly to the church account. It is a confidential, secure and convenient way to support the church and it is regular and consistent and eliminates the cost of envelopes, saving paper and time. Your donations can be done by either
         1. direct debit of your checking or savings account or
         2. charge to your credit/debit card

To authorize direct debit you will need to provide the bank routing number and account number as they appear at the bottom of your checks.

Gifts may be designated for OPC's General Fund, Mortgage Payment Fund, Connected In Faith Debt Retirement Fund, Major Maintenance Fund, or "Other" (with a project name).

To sign up at our online donations site, just click the Donate button.

You can also access our mobile version of the giving page using this QR image.

If you prefer to use a paper form rather than the online site, you may download our Authorization for Automatic Giving Form, fill it out, print it and submit it to the church office. This form is also available at the church.

If this is your first time using the online donations site, we recommend that you create a profile as suggested. A profile is not required, but it stores your information so that it is unnecessary to re-enter it on future visits to the site and allows you to track your gifts easily.

A frequent question is "How can I still participate in the offering during services?". We suggest writing "I give electronically" on your offering envelope (or another slip of paper) and place it in the offering plate.

One-time online gift

You can also use our online donations site to make a one-time gift. The process is a fast, convenient, and secure way for you to give. Just click the Give Now button to set it up.

By Cash or Check

You can give cash or checks during regular weekly worship services (using your offering envelopes) or drop it off at the church office during normal business hours, or you can mail a check to Oswego Presbyterian Church, 1976 Route 25, Oswego, IL 60543.
