OUR FATHER'S HOUSE!

OPC's Connected In Faith
Campaign is big success!

$719,000 pledged!

Praise the Lord!

Commitment Sunday for the Connected in Faith campaign was December 4, 2011. Pastor Terry reported that pledges totaling $719,000 have been received from 128 donors. Thank you donors! This exceeds by $67,000 the campaign's minimum goal of $650,000 for reduction of our debt from the 2008-2010 building program. Considering the current difficult economy, the campaign committee is especially grateful for the outpouring of support.

On December 13th, 2011, your generous contributions already collected for the Connected in Faith Campaign allowed us to pay down our mortgage principal by $125,096! Thank you for your love, support and commitment to OPC.

If you missed out on this opportunity, it is not too late to make your commitment. The easiest way is to use our Online Giving Page and choose the "Connected in Faith" option.

Our campaign prayer (by Trisha Meece):

Gracious God,

We thank you for all of the benefits this renewed building has provided for our faith community.

We turn to you with grateful hearts for what we have, and with great anticipation for what is yet to be.

Bless us with a sense of unity, a spirit of cooperation, and a generous heart, as we face the responsibilities and challenges
of our commitment.

By fulfilling our promise to future generations, we are fulfilling our promise to you:

our promise to joyfully celebrate Jesus Christ in worship, create disciples, provide care and support for those in need, and to seek justice for all God’s children.

Holy Spirit, please guide us to respond gratefully to all you ask us to do and to be, and bless us with Your presence,  now and through the years to come, through Christ our Lord.

Amen

We believe prayers have been answered!
